Service Description

This treatment is minimally invasive using a specialized pen to insert micro-fine needles into the skin, which triggers the body’s wound healing process to stimulate collagen and elastin production and overall providing skin repair from the inside out. Studies show that micro needling is often a more effective treatment than dermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser resurfacing. Regular use of micro needling can effectively treat: Fine lines & wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, reduced skin elasticity, large pores, and aid in stopping hair loss. Most people need 4-6 treatments every 4-6 weeks once or twice a year to see a difference. Expect a 3-5 day healing time following the treatment, where your skin can look and feel like you have had a mild sunburn. Your skin also may feel tight and flake a bit while it heals. Micro needling is not recommended if you have any of the following: * Any active infections or feeling unwell in any way * History of abnormal scarring (such as keloid) * A poorly controlled medical condition * Allergic reactions to local anesthetics * Bleeding disorders or autoimmune disease * Are pregnant or breastfeeding * Are taking steroids * Are taking medicines that affect bleeding, such as aspirin or warfarin
